Jungle Cat

I'm a cat,
fallen from a tree,
forced to skat,
forced to flee.

Each blade of grass,
each fallen tree,
the smells entice.
Am I truly free?

The fall was fast,
This forest, free.
My paws still hurt,
My paws still hurt.
